In a recent Twitter thread, 49th Street asked, “What’s that ONE Nigerian Love song?” The responses poured in, showcasing a variety of favorites—from timeless tunes by 2face and P-Square to the emotional resonance of Chike, and Styl plus to the cleanly-cut purveyors of Darey Art Alade and Banky W to the best of both worlds from Wande Coal.
What became clear from this digital symphony of voices is our collective yearning for music that not only touches the soul but also captures the essence of our experiences. R&B, a genre understood uniquely in each locale, mirrors the audible impact of daily life on the music created.
I would like to introduce you to Brum3h, an R&B and fusion artist. He released his Typewrit3r Vol.1 EP in September 2023.
Elevating the experience of his Typewrit3r EP, Brum3h embarked on the Living Room Series in Abuja, where he graced selected living rooms with his soulful performances. The overwhelmingly positive feedback has prompted him to extend this intimate tour to other cities such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Bayelsa.
In collaboration with ONErpm, Brum3h will perform and break down songs from his EP on the 6th of February at the ONErpm office.
The aim is to connect with his audience and amplify his music. We will be honored to have you at this intimate event, as you sip, savor, and be serenaded by music from Brum3h.
