Joel Lwaga, one of the most popular gospel singers in Tanzania, has released his new album “Good To Go” on November 21, 2023. The album consists of 11 songs that are inspired by the goodness of God and the faithfulness of His promises. The album features collaborations with other renowned gospel artists such as Rose Muhando, Paul Clement, Walter Chilambo, and Zoravo.
The album is a blend of different musical genres, ranging from Afro-gospel to contemporary worship. The songs are filled with powerful testimonies, uplifting messages, and heartfelt prayers. The album aims to encourage listeners to focus on the positive aspects of life, to trust in God’s plan, and to experience His favor and grace.
“Umenishangaza”, celebrates how God has done beyond expectations and invites listeners to believe in His unlimited power while “Mkono wa Bwana”, a duet with Rose Muhando praises the work of God’s hand in changing situations for the better.
“The Way”, an Afro-gospel tune that expresses total dependence on God as the ultimate solution to every problem.

Joel Lwaga is a gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader from Tanzania. He started his musical career in 2016 with his debut album “Mimi ni Wa Juu”. Since then, he has released several hit songs, such as “Umejua Kunifurahisha”, “Sitabaki Nilivyo”, and “Mwaka Mpya”. He has won several awards, such as the Groove Awards Tanzania, the Maranatha Global Worship Music Awards, and the Africa Gospel Music Awards. He is also involved in various social and humanitarian projects, such as the Joel Lwaga Foundation, which supports orphans and widows. He is married to Esther Lwaga and they have one child.
