Rebirth is the first studio EP by Nigerian singer 6th Quan. It was first released on February 18, 2022, on major distribution platforms and followed the August 7, 2021 release of 6th Quan’s single with Achezy titled “The Garden”. The album features guest vocals from Blaise, Achezy, Inioluwa , and production from Baad, Mocking bird, Dizzy and Nelxn.
By the time REBIRTH arrived in 2O22, the Nigerian home-studio whiz had made his most epic leap yet, offering his particular take on Afro-pop.
Quan’s second release , REBIRTH deluxe , is to be released by Maxtreme for streaming on all distribution platforms on January 4, 2023, under the color theme BLUE. Quan’s trajectory changed over the course of a single track, “psycho+”, which stretches out over nearly three minutes and indulges in remix-style creating a hybrid of Amapiano, EDM and lengthy stretches without vocals. “Psycho is a fictional story of a girl I’m crazy about. Plus, the emotions were driving me nuts and that was part of the inspiration for the lyrical content of Psycho” says Quan.
Among the many songs on 6th Quan’s semi-concept EP, REBIRTH deluxe , there are plenty of standouts. But “HEALING PROCESS” might just be the finest. “Healing process” shows what 6th Quan does best, never straying far from his patented formula. The track begins with lines so epic, they may just end up on his Hall of Fame bust.
6th Quan initially teased REBIRTH deluxe for the first time last month on his Instagram status by uploading the Rebirth track-list with three additional tracks, after the release of his two track single pack “Pandora”.
