GRANNY TISAN’S “CALVARY” EP: A FUSION OF SOUNDS AND STORIES FROM A SEASONED YOUNG SOUL
At just 19, Granny Tisan writes like a seasoned soul, pouring raw honesty and Afro-punk energy into Calvary, his new 5-track EP. Produced solo and steeped in his heritage, the record explores inner battles, youthful heartbreak, and spiritual tension.
Tracks like “Fear” give no easy answers; they hold space for doubt. “Lesser Key” flips love into a dark fable, while “Hollow” bleeds breakup whispers and unfiltered regret. “So Wrong” holds you in a groove that pushes and pulls with confession and desire. As the EP closes, “Food Chain” emerges as a heartbreak slow‑burn, a battlefield metaphor in song.
“I call myself the Afro Punkstar because I believe in merging the vibrancy of African music with the raw energy of rock,” Granny Tisan says. “This EP is a celebration of my roots, my journey, and the fusion of sounds that define who I am as an artist.”
Calvary EP is now available on all streaming platforms.
