GRACE IDOWU & GLITCH GOSPEL RELEASE HEAVENLY ‘LIVE WORSHIP MEDLEY’
Grace Idowu Ibukunoluwa, a Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter, has carved a path of spiritual storytelling through music. Born in Lagos on 5 May 2000 and raised in Ondo State, she discovered her passion for worship early, later honing her craft at Babcock University. Her journey took a pivotal turn in 2020 when she joined the emPawa Africa Program under Mr Eazi’s mentorship, launching her debut EP, “Amazing God” the E.P.
After a three-year hiatus, Grace returned in 2023 with her sophomore project “More”, reaffirming her commitment to music that uplifts and heals.
Grace’s latest single, “Live Worship Medley”, a collaboration with GLITCH GOSPEL, a platform dedicated to amplifying African gospel music, captures the unfiltered essence of live worship. Blending spontaneous melodies with modern praise, the medley invites listeners into a sacred space of reflection and joy. Her rich, commanding vocals soar over dynamic arrangements, merging traditional hymns with contemporary African gospel tones. Each note feels intentional, guided by a sincerity that bridges personal devotion and collective worship.
Whether through the anthemic chorus of More or the tender vulnerability of her live performances, her music carries a weight that transcends genre. Live Worship Medley is no exception, designed to ignite hearts and awaken dormant hope.
As she partners with GLITCH GOSPEL to spread Africa’s faith-driven narratives, Grace proves once again: when she sings, the world listens.
